Terms of Service
- We are not responsible for any lost funds.
- Never send funds to the wrong wallet address. Check every address twice. Blockchain transfers cannot be undone, and we cannot reverse, refund or recover them.
- This is an online game. Items, gold and characters are game data, not money or property. The Game can change, reset or go offline.
- Signing in is free and never moves funds. We will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], a Texas limited liability company ("we", "us"), about your use of Solanic Heroes, a browser-based online role-playing game, and its website and servers (together, the "Game"). By connecting your wallet to the Game or otherwise using it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
1. Who can play
You must be at least [13] years old to play, and old enough in your country to enter a binding agreement, or have a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms for you. You may not play if you are barred from using the Game under applicable law.
2. Your account is your wallet
You sign in by connecting a Solana wallet and approving a free sign-in message. We do not ask for or store an email address or password. Your wallet address identifies your character. You are responsible for keeping your wallet and its keys secure. Anyone who controls your wallet controls your character, and we cannot recover a character for someone who has lost access to their wallet. One wallet is one character. You may not buy, sell, trade or share accounts or characters outside the Game's own features.
Signing in never costs money and never gives us permission to move anything in your wallet. If a screen ever asks you to approve a transaction just to sign in, do not approve it and tell us.
3. Virtual items and gold
- Items, gold, characters, levels and everything else in the Game are virtual. They have no cash value, and you do not own them. You receive a limited, personal license to use them in the Game while you follow these Terms.
- We may change, rebalance, reset, add or remove game content, items, prices, drop rates and rules at any time, including to fix bugs, stop cheating or keep the Game fair. We have no obligation to compensate you for such changes.
- All sales of anything we offer for money are final unless the law requires otherwise.
4. How you must behave
You agree not to:
- cheat, use bots or automation that plays for you, exploit bugs, duplicate items or gold, or modify or reverse engineer the Game or its servers;
- interfere with the Game, attack or overload our servers, or try to access other players' accounts or data;
- harass, threaten, hate on, or impersonate other players or our staff, or use names, chat or guild names that are offensive, unlawful or infringe someone else's rights;
- share illegal, sexual, or violent content involving minors, or any content that is unlawful;
- advertise or spam, or sell the Game's items or accounts for real money outside the Game;
- use the Game to commit fraud or money laundering or to violate sanctions or other laws.
Player-versus-player combat is allowed only where the Game's rules allow it. Attacking other players in safe areas such as kingdoms, Hollow Market and ports is not permitted. Killing players who have not attacked first adds death points, and the Game may flag, penalise or jail such players as its rules describe. Guards enforce these rules in the Game.
5. Enforcement
We may warn, mute, suspend or permanently ban an account, remove items or gold, roll back progress, or take other action if we believe you broke these Terms or the Game's rules, or to protect the Game or other players. We use automated checks and manual review. If you think we made a mistake, contact us at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. We do not owe refunds or compensation for removed or lost virtual items when action is taken for a violation.
6. Your content
You keep the rights to what you write in chat and name your character or guild. You give us a free, worldwide license to store, display, filter, moderate and use that content to run the Game. We may remove it at any time.
7. Our rights
The Game, its art, music, code, names and logos belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. Some of the Game's art and code was created with the help of AI tools under our direction. Other than your license to play, you receive no rights in them. You may share screenshots and videos of your play, including on streaming and social sites, provided you do not suggest we endorse you and you follow these Terms. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
8. Third-party services
The Game works with services we do not control, such as your wallet app, the Solana network and our hosting providers. We are not responsible for them, for blockchain transactions that cannot be reversed, or for losses caused by wallet errors, phishing, network congestion or outages.
9. Availability and changes to the Game
The Game is in development and may have bugs, downtime, data resets and security issues. We may change it, pause it, or shut it down. If we shut down the Game permanently we will try to give reasonable notice.
10. Disclaimers
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THAT THE GAME WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE. NOTHING IN THE GAME IS FINANCIAL, TAX OR LEGAL ADVICE.
11. Limit of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR ITEMS, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE GAME IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF [US$100] OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. 12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and reimburse us for claims and costs caused by your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Game, to the extent the law allows.
13. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
